Gone with the Woof (A Bad Dog Book)

By Tim Robinson

This was war. Real war.

This was Man (and Buddy) vs Armadillo.

In Gone with the Woof (A Bad Dog Book), historical fiction writer Tim Robinson, author of A Tropical Frontier series, takes us on a diversion from business-as-usual in the Series to his South Florida acreage, The Last Resort, with his best friend Buddy (who’s not really a bad dog at all), Grandma and the kids, Kitty (the cat), Cock-a-doodle-done-did (the rooster), Shawn O’Shady (a fox), Okee-Donkey, and the resident mockingbirds, squirrels, possums, and even an armadillo named Harlan through a highly entertaining romp that culminates (almost) in The Battle of Icky Springs against the evil and ominous “Sinister Six” from the property next door. It’s guaranteed to make you wish a three-hour drive lasted an extra hour and a half!!!

If you haven’t experienced Tim’s A Tropical Frontier series, time’s a wastin’. It begins with the Tales of Old Florida at the turn of the 18th century with the MacLeods, Dawsons, and Hackensaws settling the challenging but as yet unspoiled Biscayne Bay and progressing through the Civil War and into current times in South Florida. It’s truly compelling reading! Gone With the Woof is #22 in this outstanding series of novels and is followed by another “Bad Dog Book,” The Puppy That Cried Woof, #24 in the series.
